Antique Hunter….

Hello Lovelies!

It has been awhile since my first post on this new ‘business blog’ and it is time to get cracking!

It has come to my attention that people like my stuff! They like it, they really like it! re: Pretty Freedom in Kensington Market blog post all about moi :) Due to the like factor, I think I should continue to blog and create and live and love so here is my second-to-the-first-of-many-posts.

I am consistently scouring places to find new vintage (oxy moron!) jewels to take apart and re-create for your purchasing pleasure; such endeavours led me to the St. Lawrence Antique Market last Sunday. One sunny afternoon I was sitting outside the Friendly Thai on Queen W perusing the eye candy on the streets when to my amazement this gorgeous girl rode by with one wicked purse. I asked her where she found such a gem and she told me the market! I finally went the following weekend and what a lovely place it was. Here are some pics that documented my trip to the market to see what I could buy….

just the beginning

Welcome darlings, to my blog that will house some of the things I’ve been working on. Last September I enrolled at the University of Toronto’s Teacher’s College and had to relent to my glasses again as yes, I am a huge nerd and cannot see the board without them :) I am always garage sale-ing and looking for new bargains on the vintage side and had begun incorporating jewelery into my repertoire. I found this fantastic vintage, ‘Mr. T’ inspired necklace and decided to do something fun with it. I started wearing my new eyeglasses chain to school and had an excellent response from glasses and non-glasses wearers alike!

It has been a long time coming since September, but I’ve got a lot of stuff that needs to be seen, and bought! Eyeglasses chains for women, sweater clips and coming soon for men….chains as well, clips and cufflinks!

Here is the first of many posts and the beginning of misscoffeyvintage. The beautiful photos were taken by Shannon Echlin with the pieces modeled by myself and the gorgeous Jessica Dell’Aquila.

Enjoy! xx
